In this Tuesday, the supreme court upholds the trump travel ban to most of the Muslim countries. Well not all of them but most of them are Muslim majored countries. Now it’s called as a noticeable victory of White House.
The latest travel ban features travel restriction of 7 countries. Those are Iran, North Korea, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Venezuela. The North Korea, Venezuela are new victim of the Trump travel ban.
Previously, president Trump has enforced travel ban to eight countries. According to the court depiction, Trump was right. Chad was removed from the travel ban based upon visa enhancement. But we got new tow countries with a travel ban.
Although most of the county are Muslim majored, a lot of critics claimed that it has come from anti-muslim biases. But Chief Justice John Roberts clears everything out.
Roberts said, “We express no view on the soundness of the policy”.
Overall, it was a long run for Trump travel ban. At the end of this race, it’s a massive victory to US White House. After getting the new decision, president Trump has tweeted “SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TRUMP TRAVEL BAN. Wow!”

In another hand, the new edition is also getting some rough opinions. To Keith Ellison, who is the first Muslim elected in Congress said that the decision will end up in ‘dust bin of history’.
Ellison also stated,
“Our country has gone through some ugly days. The Supreme Court in the 1850s said that it was OK to own a black person, that was the Dred Scott decision. That decision hit the dust bin of history … and this one will too,” Rep. Keith Ellison, a Democrat from Minnesota, told CNN’s Kate Bolduan on “At This Hour.”
Afterword he also added that “Discrimination and racism and hatred and religious bigotry is never going to be winning in the end,’
Also, according to The American Civil Liberties Union(ACLU), it’s not the fair decision of the supreme court. They have tweeted, “SCOTUS has upheld Trump’s Muslim ban. This is not the first time the Court has been wrong or has allowed official racism and xenophobia to continue rather than standing up to it.”.
BREAKING: SCOTUS has upheld Trump’s Muslim ban. This is not the first time the Court has been wrong, or has allowed official racism and xenophobia to continue rather than standing up to it.
History has its eyes on us — and will judge today’s decision harshly. #NoMuslimBanEver
